Gold Snake Ring
This coiled serpent gold ring has been formed by one single gold strand that has been wound and wound into a spiral. At each end of the yellow gold strand are the snake's head and the tail. This estate gold ring is made with 22kt gold. Unlike many 22kt gold rings, this ring is very sturdy. Ring resizing is not recommended. This ring is a size 6.5. This ring hallmarked K22 for 22kt gold. This snake ring measures appx 1 3/8 inches long. The design of this ring is appx 7/8 inches wide. Designed by Zolotas, this snake ring will coil most of your finger.
Snake and serpent rings may be traced back to the 4th century BC. This design was frequently used during this period and copied by following civilizations. Symbolism for snake rings is vast. The serpent is the emblem of Asclepius, the God of Medicine, whose powers allowed for the resuscitation of the dead.
